This article will take you through the steps on how to configure your SmartMail e-mail account on your Apple device via IMAP.
1. Setup your SmarterMail e-mail account by selecting the Settings icon.
2. Select Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
3. Select Add Account.
4. Select Other (ActiveSync).
5. Chose Add Mail Account.
6. Fill out the following settings and then select Next.
Name: (First Last Name)
Email: user@domain.com
Password: (your password)
Description: My Email Account
7. Chose IMAP. Fill in the following settings:
INCOMING MAIL SERVER
Host Name: smart.securembox.com
Username: Full SmartMail e-mail Address
Password: Mailbox Password
OUTGOING MAIL SERVER (Not Optional)
Host Name: smart.securembox.com
Username: Full SmarterMail e-mail Address
Password: Mailbox Password
8. Mail and Notes are auto-set to synchronize with the device. Select Save.
