How to: Create a Marketing List

This article explains how to Create A Marketing List.

 


 

1. Click on the Marketing tab, select Marketing Lists.

2. Click the NEW button to open the Marketing List form.


3. In the NAME field, select a name for the list.

4. In the MEMBER TYPE field, choose Account, Contact, or Lead.

5. Choose whether it is a Static or Dynamic marketing list.

6. Click the Save and Close button.

 

 

Static vs Dynamic Marketing Lists

 

Static - New members that match a certain criteria for a list does not get added automatically. They must be added manually.

Dynamic - New members are automatically added to a list if they meet the certain criteria for that list.

 

 

Note: You can also create a Static list from a Dynamic list by pressing the Copy To Static button and a static list containing the dynamic list members at the time is created.
