Managing Mobile Devices In Outlook Web App 2013

The following article will assist the user in accessing information regarding an ActiveSync mobile device.

1. Open your web browser and log on with your mailbox credentials at https://na02.msexchangeoutlook.com
2. In the upper right hand corner Click on the Options icon.
3. Select Options.
4. On the left-hand menu, select Phone. This will bring up the Mobile Phone Section.

The Mobile Phone section contains several features that will allow you to manage your ActiveSync devices.

View Mobile Phone Detail

From this section, you can view Details of each ActiveSync device configured to send/receive mail on your account.

Wipe Hand-held Device

This feature allows you to remotely wipe your mobile phone in case it has been lost or stolen.  Please note that content that has been remotely wiped will not be recoverable.

Show Recovery Password

Some mobile devices contain a recovery password in the case your phone has been shut down due to attempts to compromise the security of the phone. If you have forgotten or misplaced the password you can use this feature to recover it.

Start Logging

If your device is synchronizing with MS Exchange 2010, you can retrieve a log that shows interactions between the exchange server and your phone. The generated log file will appear as an attachment to a new message in your Inbox.
